Quilling Circles with Sugar Sheets

Thin strips of Sugar Sheets! bring big impact when looped together. The quilling effect of placing groups of loops together to build shapes like the flower shown here creates a breathtaking look.

Steps:

Step 1

Using Rotary Cutter, Cut a Sugar Sheets! strip according to project directions. Here, we've used 1/4 x 8 in. strips.

Step 2

Position end of quilling tool over end of strip. Twist quilling tool to wind strip around.

Step 3

Continue twisting to create a spiral, guiding end of strip around tool with your other hand.

Step 4

This is the completed quilling circle.

Step 5

Assemble quilling circles on cake top for flower petals and center.
