Pouring Fondant, Icing or Candy Over Cakes or Cookies
A quick and easy way to give a professional-looking finish to all your baked goods!
Steps:
Step 1: Make Quick-Pour Fondant, Heat Icing or Melt Candy
Melt Candy Melts® following package directions. For icings, follow recipe directions to reach pouring consistency.
Step 2: Put Cakes on Cooling Rack
Place cooled cakes or cookies on cooling rack positioned over cookie sheet or pan.
Step 3: Pipe Fondant, Icing or Candy on Cakes
Pour or pipe candy or icing on center of item, spreading to edges with a spatula so that candy or icing drips down and covers sides. Let dry.

Melting Candy in your Microwave Oven
A quick and easy way to melt candy is in a microwave-safe bowl.
If you're using a bowl or measuring cup, microwave 1 package Candy Melts at 40% power or defrost setting for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly. Continue to microwave and stir at 30-second intervals until smooth and completely melted.
