Piping cookie dough

Before baking, cookies can be decorated with thinned cookie dough. This easy method gives the appearance of colorful icing and is perfect for lasting centerpieces and novelty decorations.

Step 1: Thin Dough with Water

Mix a small amount of tinted cookie dough with 1 teaspoon of water at a time until dough is thin enough to pass through tip 2.

Step 2: Pipe Dough

Pipe desired decorations onto unbaked cookies.
