Outline and Fill Cookies

Step 1

Step 1:

Make Royal icing, Color Flow Icing or Quick-Pour Fondant follow recipe directions.

Step 2

Step 2:

Place cooled cookies on cooling rack positioned over cookie sheet or pan. Outline cookie with full-strength icing.

Step 3

Step 3:

Thin icing following recipe instructions. Flow-in icing inside outline, following project instructions.

Variation:

Cookies and other treats can also be completely covered with poured icing. Omit icing outline and continue as described in Step 3 above, allowing icing to flow over sides of treat.
