White candy is a light delicious treat. Perfect for gift-giving and other occasions.
In heavy saucepan, heat candy and sweetened condensed milk on low, stirring until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.* Stir in nuts and vanilla, if desired. Spoon fudge mixture into pan sprayed with vegetable pan spray or cookie cutter; smooth surface. If desired, gently press sprinkles into candy. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until set.
Makes about 2 pounds candy.
* For microwave, heat Candy Melts and sweetened condensed milk in 2 qt. glass container on high power 2½-3½ minutes, then stir until melted and smooth. (Note since microwaves vary in wattage and power output, cooking time may need to be adjusted.)
