Peanut Butter Fudge

This fudge is no fuss to make at all! No need for candy thermometers or special ingredients. Make several batches for easy and inexpensive gift giving!

In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter and peanut butter.  Microwave on HIGH 1½ minutes or until mixture begins to bubble; stir. Microwave on HIGH 1½ additional minutes.  Stir in vanilla (mixture will bubble up). Stir in sugar; stir until thick and well blended. Spoon mixture evenly into pan sprayed with vegetable pan spray or cookie cutter; smooth surface.  If desired, sprinkle peanuts over top; gently press into surface of candy. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until set.

Makes about 2 pounds candy.
