Chocolate Sour Cream Pound Cake

Rich, buttery pound cake combined with chocolate makes a delicious cake appropriate for any occasion. The perfect recipe for stand-up, 3D pans.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour pan or spray with vegetable pan spray with flour.

In medium bowl, combine chocolate, coffee and water. Stir to melt chocolate and dissolve coffee. Cool to room temperature.

In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir sour cream into cooled chocolate mixture. Add to batter alternately with flour mixture. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool in pan on cooling grid 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

Makes about 6 cups batter.
