Bake your favorite 2 layer cake recipe in 8 in. round baking pans. Cool completely. Stack cooled layers with buttercream or other favorite filling, on foil covered cake circle. Prepare for fondant by lightly icing with buttercream.
Roll our fondant 1/4 in. thick. Cut to size and cover cake; smooth.
Roll remaining white fondant 1/8 in. thick. Cut star shapes using all three sizes of Star Cut-Outs. In separate containers, combine gold Pearl Dust and silver Pearl Dust with vanilla. Brush mixture onto star shapes. With damp brush, attach stars onto cake top and sides. Add Sugar Pearls to cake, using icing if desired. Make fondant ropes; twist or braid together and attach to bottom border.
