Cherish the Memories Cake

Time flies by, but not the memories. Capture life´s significant moments with a timely scrapbook cake. Define each chapter with your favorite laminated photos.

Serves 30.

Step 1: Bake the Cake

Bake your favorite 1-layer cake recipe or mix in sheet pan. Cool cake in pan on wire rack 10-15 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Place on foil-wrapped cake board.

Step 2: Prepare Photos

Choose 3-5 favorite photos. Make color copies of the photos; laminate color copied photos.

Step 3: Decorate the Cake

Ice cake top smooth with ivory icing and sides in brown icing. Pipe tip 21 shell bottom border. Use smooth side of tip 2B to pipe frame on top edge of picture. Position laminated photos on cake. Cut spice drops in half horizontally and position on corners of photos with dots of icing. Pipe tip 13 shell border around center photo. Attach icing decoration message with dots of icing. Randomly sprinkle confetti decorations.
