Candy Safari on Sticks

The combination of candy and cookie can’t be beat, and when they feature friendly jungle animals who can resist? Special candy molds make these treats so easy to create. They are perfect for goodie bags or gifts, and are a hit at any bake sale!

Step 1: Prepare Candy Melts for Molding

Melt Candy Melts following package instructions.  Tint a small portion of white candy gray; tint some melted cocoa candy black.  

Step 2: Decorate

Paint the animal facial features of the candy mold cavities with melted candy; refrigerate until firm.  Add candy to fill head portion of mold; refrigerate until firm.  Fill mold 1/2 full with melted candy; add cookie and gently tap on counter to remove air bubbles.  Refrigerate until firm.  Unmold.  Attach lollipop sticks to back of candies with melted candy; let set.  Arrange in container as desired.
