Candy Classic Gingerbread House

Baked. . . assembled. . . and ready to decorate. Your creative fun begins right away.

Step 1

Step 1: Pipe Icing Decor

Prepare icing according to package directions. Fill decorating bag with icing. (Keep remaining icing covered with a damp cloth.) Create windows and windowpanes, decorate edges of windows and doors and add garland above door with outlines and zigzags. Decorate seams of house with zigzags. Using a spatula, ice roof with wavy motion, pulling slightly over eaves.

Step 2

Step 2: Add Candy

Cut top half pieces from spice drops; attach above door with icing to form wreath. Cut and attach small spice drop piece for doorknob. Cut spice drops in half horizontally; attach to roof and at garland points. Cut jelly fruit slices in half; attach to roof peak.

Step 3

Step 3: Complete the Scene

Using a spatula, ice snow on base fluffy. Cut jelly spearmint leaves to various heights; attach leaves and spice drops around base of house.
