Ask Nancy
Because butter is very expensive, can I substitute margarine for butter?

Margarine can be used in baked goods, but it doesn’t provide the same flavor and texture as butter. Cookies, for example, baked with margarine will be crisper and you won’t get the rich butter flavor.
