Hi Nancy! Do you have a buttercream icing recipe that does not require shortening, and a royal icing that does not require Meringue Powder?

For buttercream icing, you can substitute and additional 1/2 cup butter for the shortening in our recipes. Royal icing can be made with egg whites in place of the Meringue Powder. Look for recipes on the internet, but be sure you use pasteurized eggs/egg whites to avoid illness.
