How can I make the icing for petit fours?

The easiest icing to use is to gently warm canned 1 pound Ready-To-Use White Decorator Icing. Heat in the microwave on DEFROST setting for 20-30 seconds, then stir. If needed, continue heating on DEFROST, stirring at 10 second intervals. If you have more time or would prefer to make the icing from scratch, use the Poured Fondant Icing recipe on this website.
