Is it possible to flavor icing? If so, how?

Absolutely!  Simply add the flavor you choose to use after creaming the butter.  When making a buttercream icing, this will be your second step. Vanilla extract is the classic. Peanut butter and lemon are two popular flavors right now, but the possibilities are endless.  You can find recipes and more flavor ideas on our website.
