Hi Nancy, love your show! I also like to watch cake decorating contest shows. Could you please tell me what they use to add color to their flowers? I see them brushing on a powder. Thanks and keep up the great job!

Cake decorators commonly use non-toxic chalk that is crushed and put through a strainer so that it's very fine. This crushed chalk is then brushed onto the decorations. There are also products like Wilton Pearl Dust that are made specifically for adding color to fondant and gum paste flowers and other decorations.
