I use unsweetened cocoa for the frosting in a chocolate cake, but it never turned dark brown. Do you have to use other kinds of chocolate?

We have a recipe on this site for Dark Chocolate Buttercream Icing which is made with either cocoa powder or squares of unsweetened chocolate. If that still isn’t brown enough for what you need, you can add Brown Icing Color to the icing.
