I am new to cake decorating. I have your DVD Bake, Decorate, Celebrate but I did not find the answer to my question on it. Can I bake cakes and freeze them ahead of time ? With or without frosting ? How long can they be frozen before I must use them ?

Yes, you can bake cakes ahead of time and freeze them until you need to use them. It's important to cool the cakes completely before wrapping them tightly in plastic wrap for storage. Uniced cakes will keep best in the freezer. Wrap them several times so that the cake is protected from the cold air. They'll last several weeks in the freezer if they are well wrapped. Thaw the cakes completely before icing.
