I regularly bake cheesecakes for gifts; any suggestions on how to remove the complete cake from the springform pan bottom before giving them away?

Many bakers use a cake board the size of the springform pan bottom and cover it with aluminum foil. Place the board in the bottom of the pan, and make your crust and filling as you would normally. When ready to give away, release the springform sides and your cheesecake is ready to give on the cake circle.
