The easiest thing to do is to use a quality metal or plastic cookie cutter to shape your cookies. Dip the cookie cutter in flour before use. After I press down the cutter into the cookie dough, I like to rotate/jiggle the cutter just a bit before I pull it out to make sure I’ve cut completely through. Cookie cutters are available in so many interesting shapes and themes to choose from!
