Unfortunately, you cannot purchase sifted confectioners’ sugar, You will need to sift the sugar yourself. You can buy an actual sifter, where you pour the sugar into the sifter, then turn or squeeze a handle which shakes the sugar around and sifts it through a mesh, holding back any large or hard pieces of sugar. You can also do this through a medium-fine wire mesh strainer – simply spoon or pour the sugar into the strainer and gently shake the sugar into a bowl.
