I'm baking a wedding cake covered with fondant what can I use to pipe dots and pearl border? help wedding is Aug. 5th 2011.

You can use buttercream icing to pipe the dots and pearl border.  Depending on your hand pressure, a tip 4 , 5, or 6 should work great, but certainly adjust for what you think works best.  Another option are the new silicone fondant molds available.  Several have pearl strands and other border options - simply dust with cornstarch, press in the fondant and voila!
