How do you transport ice cream cakes?

Make sure your ice cream cake has been frozen for several days in a freezer that has a temperature of 0ºF or below. A pre-chilled ice chest with lots of ice is a must. If you are traveling a long distance, I would suggest obtaining dry ice or change your cake to something other than an ice cream cake.
