I've tried many different ways to get a true Wilton Christmas red but they all come out different hues of pink. What am i doing wrong? Please help...

You are most likely not adding enough red icing color. It takes about 3/4 oz of icing color to dye 1 pound of rolled fondant red! In order to achieve a true, rich red color, keep adding icing color until you get the shade that you are looking for. Wilton makes a No-Taste Red Icing Color that works great because it doesn’t impart flavor to your icings.
