I would rather cover a cake in modeling chocolate than rolled fondant. Has it been done? If so, what recipe would you use?

Modeling chocolate, or Candy Clay, gets too stiff for cutting into when placed on a cake. You might prefer Chocolate Fondant. It is very similar to modeling chocolate in taste and is perfect for covering cakes.
